I woke up this morning and saw a glittering snow field from my window. That was the first snow cover this year. The a dreary scene of Arashiyama district without flowers nor foliage, turned into a beautiful winter wonderland.

Even in the very cold weather like today, many sightseers are visiting here with cameras in their hands. They look excited!
