Scenery in June
Despite the rainy season, we don't have much rain these days. I love sunshine and fine weather but also am fond of pitter-pattering sound of rain in June.
This afternoon, I took a walk to see some flowers. I saw hydrangeas, lilies and water lilies...They were blooming as if to challenge the summer heat.
The interesting thing was that I found some eggs of forest green tree-frogs. It is so rare to find tree flogs nowadays.
In Japan, we have a tradition to have a sweet cake called Minazuki (水無月) particularly in June. Knowing it's a bit early, I bought some for myself.
Well, as for Minazuki, we have more stories. Maybe some other time.
